Carpe Diem has been open since 1989. The restaurant is done in a beautiful art nouveau style. Mahogany doors, copper lighting that vines around the wood work, and marble floors are just a few details that will engage you in the surroundings. Our menu features longtime favorites, like our hazelnut-crusted goat cheese salad, but has new items that will keep your palate interested. As always, we feature several daily specials for those of you who want variety. We take pride in providing you with gracious service. When dining with us, we want you to truly "seize the moment" and let us take care of the details.

Grilled Grape Salad - Romaine, arugula, grilled grapes, Bermuda onion, toasted pistachios, white balsamic reduction, Great Hill blue cheese vinaigrette

Warm Goat Cheese Salad - mixed greens, hazelnut-crusted goat cheese, wine poached onions, apricot-jalapeño vinaigrette

Kale Salad - baby kale mix, cauliflower, bell pepper, carrots, poached golden raisins, Pecorino Romano, black garlic sherry vinaigrette

Entrée (choice of one)

Pork Chop – herb-braised pork chop, brown butter sweet potato mash, broccoli rabe, braising reduction, sage-pumpkin seed gremolata

Scottish Salmon - pan roasted, hazelnut dukkah crusted, sauteed winter greens, pumpkin cous cous, hazelnut oil, Turkish labneh

Buttermilk Fried Chicken - Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, shallot-black pepper gravy

Mushroom Bolonese - fresh tagliatelle with stewed mixed mushroom Bolognese sauce, shaved Pecorino

Dessert (choice of one)

Chocolate Cake - with caramel icing and a salted toffee popcorn

Mocha Creme Brulee - with a s'more biscotti

Shortbread-Crusted Vanilla Cream Tart - with a Bing cherry sauce

Coconut Angel Food Cake - with a rum creme Anglaise and caramelized pineapple
