The Flipside Cafe in Fort Mill, SC, is brought to you by Jon and Amy Fortes, serving local, seasonal, inspired food. Winner of the 2014 "Got To Be NC” statewide Competition Dining Series, Jon served as chef of Mimosa Grill, Upstream, and Zink for nearly 8 years before joining his wife Amy at The Flipside in September 2014. Both chefs are graduates of Johnson & Wales University. Jon and Amy are also the owners of The Flipside Restaurant in Rock Hill.

Shrimp and Fried Oyster Gumbo - pickled holy trinity, andouille sausage, crispy okra

Hot Collards and Artichoke Eggroll - bacon spread, chow chow

Warm Asparagus Salad - Urban Gourmet Farms mushrooms, truffle, sea salt, sunny egg

Second course (choice of one)

Heritage Farms Pork Duo - pork loin roulade, Sea Island red peas, roasted bacon, sweet potato, beans, pork bone jus

Low Country Bouillabaisse - Carolina grouper, spicy shrimp, Maine mussels, fennel, smoked tomato saffron broth, sourdough

Ancho Grilled Wagyu Flank ($3 supplement) - butternut squash risotto, roasted broccoli, Port wine demi, Boursin butter

Third course (choice of one)

Spiced Pumpkin Mousse - salted caramel, gingerbread crumble, cranberry syrup

Flipside Brownie Sundae - coffee-chocolate ice cream, Oreo dirt, whipped cream, and a cherry on top
