A short 7-minute drive off I-485 brings you to the small-town charm of Belmont and the Charlotte area’s only authentic Greek restaurant. Gus Georgoulias, former owner of Cosmos Café, named his latest concept after the Greek Goddess of hospitality, Estia, and the Greek word for kitchen, Kouzina. This beautifully renovated former steakhouse with high ceilings and exposed beams will exceed your foodie expectations. Our recipes and ingredients are what you will find in Greece’s restaurants “off the beaten path,” prepared in-house by our Executive Chef Harry Madeckas and Chef Alex Baxevanis. What might be “all Greek” to you is just normal for us.

Choice of 1 Dip - Tzatziki, Hummus, or Htipiti with fresh cucumber slices and house-made pita

Super Lump Crab Cakes - 2 house-made crab cakes with super lump crab meat, served with a salad of arugula and roasted tomatoes and topped with a pineapple salsa

Avgolemono - traditional Greek chicken, egg, lemon, and rice soup

Maroulosalata - our Greek Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, house-made creamy feta dressing, finished with scallion and fresh dill

Entree (choice of one)

Kotopoulo Souvlas – cage- and hormone-free rotisserie chicken

Souvlaki Hirino - marinated pork souvlaki, Greek yogurt, lemon vinaigrette

Wagyu Skirt Steak - chargrilled, herb-salt crusted Masami Farms Wagyu skirt steak

Mahi Mahi - grilled and topped with a tomato and cucumber relish

Lamb Shank Youvetsi - braised lamb shank over orzo, mixed with lamb jus and topped with myzithra cheese

Lemon Potatoes

Fasolakia Kokkinista - braised green beans, dill, scallions, tomato sauce 

Broccolini a la Calabrese - sauteed in extra virgin olive oil with chili flakes and sea salt

Roasted Corn - whole kernels roasted and finished with Aleppo spiced butter

Cretan Pilaf

Dessert (choice of one)


Galaktoboureko - creamy custard in a crispy phyllo pastry shell

Cheesecake - topped with fresh berries and a summer coulis
