  • Moon Thai & Japanese was established in Florida in 2000 by lifetime chef and restaurant owner Jack Punma. We are very excited to introduce our newest location here in Charlotte! The menus at are carefully prepared with only the highest quality ingredients, and customer service and satisfaction are our top priorities. We are very excited to join Queen’s Feast to offer some of our most popular menu items to enjoy. From Chef Punma: My passion for cooking started out as a young child in my mother’s kitchen in Bangkok, Thailand. We cooked food in the morning and sold the meals to the local market. I had to do everything to help my mother, from pounding a mortar to make curry paste to climbing a coconut tree to retrieve a coconut. My mother gave me the passion for cooking, and I wouldn’t trade my passion for anything in the world. At the age of 26, I came to the United States and worked as a restaurant chef in order to support myself while attending college. On August 3, 2000, I opened my first Moon Thai & Japanese restaurant, and it was an awesome experience. I am excited to have this opportunity to provide you the best and most innovative Thai and Japanese selections. We look forward to having you as our special guest.

    • Homemade Spring Rolls (Chicken or Vegetables)
    • Fried Krab Wontons - savory deep-fried dumpling filled with imitation crab and cream cheese, served with sweet and sour sauce
    • Drumsticks – chicken drumsticks lightly battered and deep-fried ‘til crispy
    • Tom Kha (Thai Coconut Soup) (Chicken, Seafood, Shrimp, Vegetables, or Tofu) – delicious creamy soup with coconut milk, galangal, kaffir leaves, lemongrass, and chili peppers
    • Seaweed Salad
    • Edamame
  • Sushi (choice of one)
    • Spicy Tuna Roll - tuna, scallion, masago, cucumber, Japanese mayo, and spicy sauce
    • Four Seasons Roll - inside out with tuna, salmon, white fish and avocado, then topped with crab, tobiko (red, green, black & gold) and tempura flakes
    • Aburi Salmon - seared salmon with yuzu truffle ponzu
    • Veggie Roll - assorted fresh vegetables
  • Entrée (choice of one)
    • Pad Thai (Chicken, Vegetables, Tofu or Beef) – thin rice noodles sauteed with egg, scallion, bean sprouts, and peanuts
    • Duck Curry - crispy duck in red curry with pineapple, cherry tomatoes, and basil, served with rice
    • Teriyaki - cooked in a sweet and salty mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and sugar, garnished with sesame seeds, served with rice
    • Basil Sauce (Chicken, Tofu, Pork, or Vegetables) – bamboo shoots, onions, basil, and bell peppers, served with rice
  • Dessert (choice of one)
    • Lava Cake - molten chocolate cake with a liquid chocolate core
    • Donuts - Thai donuts with strawberry drizzle and a sprinkle of powdered sugar
    • Mochi Ice Cream
