The Charolais Steakhouse is a legendary restaurant operating in its original Hickory location since 1969. The nostalgic tableside carved beef cut to the guests’ exact desired 'thickness' and the premium soup, salad, and cheese bar have been mainstays for over 50 years. At the newly renovated Charolais, the old meets new to keep it a classic, refined interior. The new open floor plan highlights an expansive penny-top bar and beautiful wine cellar holding up to 1,000 bottles of rare and vintage wines. The Cranford family extends a warm invitation to join them for dinner. Reservations are recommended.

Build your own plate from our Premium Bar, an old-school mainstay at The Charolais for over 50 years, featuring a selection of over 42 ingredients, 7 assorted cheeses, and 2 soups, including our classic French Onion soup

NY Strip – chipotle-rubbed strip, honey-glazed carrots, herb-marinated purple asparagus, smoked Point Reyes blue cheese crème, Pinot Noir syrup, hand-cut tableside starting at 12 oz. ($1.65 per additional ounce)

Bone-In Chop - chargrilled pork chop, Boursin smashed potatoes, roasted Brussels, blackberry gastrique

Petite Filet - 6 oz. center cut, baked potato, bone marrow butter

Blue Ridge Chicken - marinated chicken breast, smothered and roasted in honey mustard, crumbled bacon, and mozzarella, with rice pilaf and broccolini

Bourbon-Glazed Salmon - broiled Artic salmon, Bourbon honey glaze, carrots, roasted Brussels

Dry-Aged Ribeye ($15 supplement) – 21-day dry-aged Certified Angus beef, Boursin smashed potatoes, broccolini
