  • Moon Thai & Japanese was established in Florida in 2000 by lifetime chef and restaurant owner Jack Punma. We are very excited to introduce our newest location here in Charlotte! The menus at are carefully prepared with only the highest quality ingredients, and customer service and satisfaction are our top priorities. We are very excited to join Queen’s Feast to offer some of our most popular menu items to enjoy. From Chef Punma: My passion for cooking started out as a young child in my mother’s kitchen in Bangkok, Thailand. We cooked food in the morning and sold the meals to the local market. I had to do everything to help my mother, from pounding a mortar to make curry paste to climbing a coconut tree to retrieve a coconut. My mother gave me the passion for cooking, and I wouldn’t trade my passion for anything in the world. At the age of 26, I came to the United States and worked as a restaurant chef in order to support myself while attending college. On August 3, 2000, I opened my first Moon Thai & Japanese restaurant, and it was an awesome experience. I am excited to have this opportunity to provide you the best and most innovative Thai and Japanese selections. We look forward to having you as our special guest.

  • Appetizer (choice of one)
    • Spring Rolls - wrapped in a lacy, delicate wheat skin, stuffed with a blend of your choice of chicken or vegetables & mushrooms
    • Drumsticks - lightly breaded chicken drumsticks deep-fried and served with sweet and sour sauce
    • Fried Crab Wonton - savory deep-fried dumpling filled with imitation crab and cream cheese, served with sweet and sour sauce
    • Gyoza - a Japanese dumpling of wheat-based dough sealed around beef and vegetable/cabbage stuffing
  • Sushi Roll (choice of one)
    • Spicy Tuna Roll - tuna, scallion, masago, cucumber, Japanese mayo, and spicy sauce
    • Playboy Roll - BBQ eel, shrimp, imitation crab, masago, cream cheese, and scallions, deep fried
    • Mexican Roll - shrimp tempura, cucumber, scallions, spicy mayo sauce
    • Vegetable Roll - assorted fresh vegetables
  • Entrée (choice of one)
    • Pad Thai - a perfect mix of sweet and salty with a touch of acidity; can be spicy depending on your personal preference. Thin rice noodles, sauteed with Chicken or Shrimp or Mixed vegetables plus tofu, served with or without peanuts
    • Duck Curry - a sweet and spicy curry with portions of crispy duck, red curry paste, coconut milk, chunks of pineapple, cherry tomatoes, and basil
    • Chicken Teriyaki - grilled chicken cooked in a sweet and salty mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and sugar, garnished with sesame seeds
    • Pineapple Fried Rice - scrumptious fried rice served with pineapple chunks, shrimp, and cashew nuts
  • Dessert (choice of one)
    • Lava Cake - molten chocolate cake with a liquid chocolate core
    • Mango Sticky Rice - mango slices served with sweet sticky rice covered in a coconut sauce
    • Donuts - Thai donuts with strawberry drizzle and a sprinkle of powdered sugar
