  • Calle Sol has a casual atmosphere with lively music and even livelier food. The lunch and dinner menus focus on cuisine from Cuba to Peru but have touches from food all over Latin America, based on neighborhood dining spots in Tampa and Miami. Our chefs bring extensive knowledge from their training in Latin America and Florida. Expect pressed sandwiches, ceviches and so much more. End your night at the rum bar and go home feeling like you’ve been on the beach all day—without the sand stuck to your feet.

    • Shrimp Ceviche (GF) - fresh lime juice leche de tigre marinade with sliced onions, cilantro, chili peppers, salt and pepper, served with sweet potato, corn and crispy canchas
    • Arepa - Venezuelan griddled corn cake “Reina Pepiada-style” served with chicken salad and sliced avocado on top
    • Ham Croquetas - ham and bechamel fritter fried until golden brown and gooey on the inside, served with cilantro aioli
    • Solterito Salad - Peruvian chopped salad with Romaine, sweet corn, edamame, chickpeas, grape tomato, queso fresco, avocado, red pepper, and cilantro
  • Entree (choice of one)
    • Lechón Asado - roast pork marinated with our house mojo for 24 hours and roasted for 10 hours, served with rice, beans, sautéed onions and boiled yuca
    • Vaca Frita - braised shredded beef crisped with garlic, onions and fresh lime, served with black beans, and rice
    • Cuban Fried Rice - roasted lechon, bacon, caramelized pineapple, plantains, onions, red peppers, scallions, garlic, egg and dark soy, stir-fried with jasmine rice and garnished with toasted sesame seeds and Yuma Yuma sauce
    • Chicken Milanesa - fried chicken cutlet topped with ham, tomato sauce and melted cheese, served with an arugula salad
    • Pescado a Lo Macho - our version of a classic: market catch served with a slightly spicy tomato and aji Amarillo chili sauce, served with jasmine rice and a micro green salad
    • Lentil Cazuela (V) - hearty lentil stew with jasmine rice, a fried egg, avocado and sweet plantains
    • Ropa Vieja Short Rib (+$10) - braised in a tomato broth with peppers, onions & garlic, topped with a olive-caper gremolata and served over rice

    • Guava Maria – cream cheese ice cream with a guava drizzle and crumbled Maria cookies
    • Banana Pudding Tres Leches - decadent sponge cake soaked in milk and topped with Southern-style banana pudding, cookies and caramel
    • Cafe Flan – Cafecito-flavored custards with caramel sauce
